Yana Primary School started in 2000, providing education from early childhood education to primary level. That year’s enrollment was 50 pupils in five classes. The school has since developed more infrastructure and the enrollment has increased.

I strongly believe that education is not solely about imparting academic knowledge but also instilling values, nurturing creativity and fostering learning experience that goes beyond text books and classroom work.

Our uniqueness is with emphasized approach thought particularly relevant to instill individual confidence, independent mindedness, logical thinking and being respectful.

Our staff is helped and encouraged in attempts to give pupils insight on, and useful tools for working in a range of roles, unofficial and official, where leading others can be essential to their future effective performance. The school impact on the young one’s ability to connect with the present situation.   

Having taken note of social stress experienced by some parents during education journey of their children, there are clues we have always offered on the needed work on parenting and the challenge of tackling very hard family problems in order to secure the future of the child.

As we celebrate our silver Jubilee, we are grateful to all parents that embrace the vision of our school “The Reality of Service”, by enrolling their children at Yana, More importantly, the Ugandan citizens we have nurtured through our humble contribution in their education career.
